Any Online Shopaholics out there?

Kanye said it best in All Falls Down:

"Single black female, addicted to retail."

Alright, so maybe nix that first part.  I'm not single or black, but I definitely have a shopping addiction.  I haven't been able to go one paycheck without buying something online.  I am the reason marketing moguls are overpaid.

Dealigg.com manages to find all sorts of deals and coupons on the web.  It's gotten to the point where I refuse to pay full price at Banana Republic, due to the abundance of coupon codes that Dealigg provides.  Besides, do I really need to pay $15 shipping for earrings?  Are you packaging it in 14 karat bubble wrap?

I'm not sure if this is a solution to the problem, or simply enabling me.

Seriously Kim?

She even looks good as a blonde.  Does this bitch look bad in anything?

Did anyone catch the issue of Cosmo where Kim claims to never fart or go #2?  Seriously, Kim?  You're human.  There.  Now I feel a lot better.

Watch Out, DSW

DSW seems to be a staple for any money-conscious shoe addict.  Such as every woman I know.  However, there is a site that trumps.

6pm.com has a better selection, usually better prices, and has incredible shipping rates.

Why hello there! And only $18?

Anti-Avatar Your Dark Circles

Maybelline recieves a C- for neglecting to correctly market their product.  I've been purchasing Maybelline's Double Face Perfector concealing wand for 2 years.  It includes both a concealer want and a highlighting wand.  Considering that I'm trying to dab concealer on my imperfections at 85mph on the highway, I've never bothered to ponder where I should be applying the highlighter.  I never even use it.

Epic mistake.

Due to genetics and my inability to go to bed at a reasonable hour, I have heinous dark circles that require gobs of concealer.  I can't be the only one out there.  But I have a trick!

Use the highlighter.  Use it under your eyes.  The pigments deflect light, and almost do a better job than the concealer at covering those blue shadows.  Maybelline's website notes, "For best results: Brighten skin by adding a touch of highlighter to the corner of eyes, cheek and brow bones and bridge of nose or contour of lip."  What they need to be saying is, "Add highlighter to avoid looking like a complete avatar in the office at 9am."

You're welcome.
